The World Series—Mississippi Style!
Mississippi will host two USSA youth baseball World Series this year—one
in Southaven and one in Canton. Snowden Grove Park’s 17-field facility in Southaven will host the
USSSA 2008 10 & Under AAA World Series July 13-20. Sixteen other major youth baseball tournaments will be held at
Snowden Grove between March 26 and October 5 of this year.
“We are exicited and honored to be recognized by these National
Baseball Organizations, and hosting their World Series events in
Mississippi,” says park director, Scotty Baker, who also is executive
director of USSSA baseball in Mississippi. “It speaks volumes to the
level of our venues and baseball talent.”
